I’ve got a music degree in guitar from Rotterdam Conservatory, and I’ve spent over a decade teaching private guitar lessons to students of all ages and styles.

The best thing about this course is it gives you all the tools to eventually figure everything out on your own. I was an intermediate guitar player before. I could play along to my favorite songs and learn some solos note for note but there was something missing. The course is great fun! There is a nice mix of techniques that are explained well. The tabs provide a great reference to the lesson content, and the backing tracks really help with timing and getting up to speed. There are enough references to the theoretical basis for the lessons for those of us who are interested, but if you just want to play, that is an option too.
